Pāvilosta South Beach is located to the left of the Saka River mouth, right next to the South Pier. Compared to the town's main commercial beach on the opposite side of the river, this coastal stretch is much quieter, less crowded, and retains a pristine, natural atmosphere.
The beach is framed by wide sand dunes covered in marram grass and coastal willows, featuring well-maintained wooden boardwalks and seating areas. It offers fine, powdery sand and expansive views of the open Baltic Sea and the South Pier stretching into the water. This area is an ideal destination for peaceful walks, nature photography, and watching the sunset away from the crowds.
